I grew up perhaps. idk. As I listened to the newest Jay-z album, I’m impressed yet I’m over it. I can’t enjoy the negativity. No disrespect, but the content doesn’t match with my spiritual mindset.
Sho Baraka hit the nail on the head with this song Peter Pan . He talks about how he and his favorite rapper fell apart.

Hi there! Thanks for the read.. just thought I would leave a comment to tell you that I can relate to this completely. I loved Beyonce, but I don’t enjoy her music the same way anymore? I feel like I hear things with new ears now, which is actually what this song says too. I think he says its ‘the same old tune’. My favourite part is when he sings “not much depth to his content to his art”. It just made me think that Jesus is the complete opposite to that sentence.
